About Walter Benbow

Walter Benbow was the 8th Benbow child. Born a twin, he weighed only 2 lbs. at birth. His family carried him around in a shoe box. He had some learning disabilities but they rarely slowed him down. He started working at an early age, even driving delivery vehicles by age 12. He loved the ranching life, could fix any kind of machinery, and was the first one called if anything broke or went wrong at the hotel. He oversaw the Water Company for years. His daughter Carol still has the family home across from #3.
