We had a great time! Thank you for your hospitality. Check-in was smooth. We settled in our hotel room and went down for cocktails and a snack. The cocktails were delicious. Annie at the bar was gracious and made a quality drink. Dinner was fantastic. We enjoyed wandering the hotel and looking at photos. We went on a night time stroll to the bridge. When we got back we stayed a while in the lounge, warmed up, and read to each other. We returned to our room and slept well. Breakfast was great. We were happy to stay the night, and we will think fondly of our time spent there. We will definitely be planning a return trip at some time in the future.

Beautiful room overlooking the river…

I was traveling alone & have physical challenges. Not long after pulling into a handicapped parking spot next to the hotel entrance a nice young man, Juan, appeared and asked if he could assist me. I’ve been visiting this extraordinary hotel for decades. They keep fine-tuning it and the present details and decor are exquisite. Our historic room had to be the cutest in the hotel. I don’t enjoy the terrace rooms as much. Few know how years ago this hotel was rescued and restored from 1970’s ramshackle conditions…and today whoever sources the unique art and antiques in each room is a genius.
