The room includes a luxuriously large bathroom with a soaking tub. A variety of artisan bath bombs, bubble bath, and soaps are available at the gift shop to complete a relaxing night away from home.
About Joe Benbow
Joe Benbow was the eldest child and by all accounts, his mother’s favorite. He often took on the role of father since his own Dad was unreliable and often missing. Joe became the youngest principal in Humboldt Co. at age 18. He studied nights, worked two jobs by day, sold Book of Knowledge town to town, studied law, and was a prominent businessman in Eureka. Joe was chief surveyor on the hotel and dam project, sold most of the stock to wealthy investors and ran the Power Company until the family sold it to P.G. & E. Joe and his family actually lived in what will now be 403.
